The Beauty of
The Federal Territory Mosque, also known as Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, is a mosque located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was officially opened in 2000 and is one of the largest and most modern mosques in the country.
The mosque's design features a combination of traditional Islamic and modern architecture, with a large central dome, four smaller domes, and two towering minarets. The interior of the mosque can accommodate up to 17,000 worshippers at a time and includes a main prayer hall, separate prayer areas for women, and various other facilities such as classrooms, a library, and a multipurpose hall.
One of the most striking features of the Federal Territory Mosque is its unique calligraphy, which is etched onto the walls and ceiling of the prayer hall. The calligraphy is a fusion of traditional Islamic script and modern design, and features various verses from the Quran and Islamic poetry.
The mosque is open to visitors of all faiths and offers guided tours for those interested in learning more about Islam and the mosque's architecture and history. It is also a popular spot for photography, especially during sunset when the mosque is bathed in golden light.

Come here to visit it really has a worthwhile feeling. The design of the mosque and the craftsmanship make people feel particularly shocking. The special beauty, whether from a distance or indoors, is like a thousand and one page storyline.
The mosque in the Federal District is very suitable for photography. When we were there, at least two couples held weddings, as well as fountains and other waterscapes. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., mosques in Federal Territories offer an hour of free travel with a large number of volunteers.
I would highly recommend visiting Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan during your time in Kuala Lumpur. Its beauty, location, and facilities make it a truly exceptional place to experience Islamic culture and architecture. Whether you are a Muslim traveler or simply someone interested in learning more about Islam, this mosque is definitely worth checking out!
It has 22 domes made of a composite material of glass fiber cloth mixed with epoxy resin.
The Federal Territory Mosque (Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan) is an attractive mix of different styles, from both Malaysia, and much further afield. It pays particular homage to the classic Islamic architecture of the Ottoman Empire, most notably the 16th century Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Its a must place to visit and enjoys the views.
