Not only is Kyoto Lushan the famous red maple, but it is also the Christmas Lantern Road in December. This attracts tourists from all over the world. The Lantern Road is about 5.2 kilometers long. From the board station to the bamboo forest, the lanterns are on both sides of the trail. It is the most scenic place in Kyoto.  It was the gathering place of the nobles of the Heian period and is the perfect place to enjoy the cherry blossoms and red maples. At the Yueyue Bridge, the brightly lit Dyueqiao is a landmark of Lushan Mountain.  Another amazing sight is from the Tianlong Temple to the Dahe Nei Mountain Villa. This bamboo forest trail has one of the best bamboos in the Lushan Mountain. At this time, the bamboo forest on the Lantern Road is more mysterious.
