The Basilica of St. George is now the Catholic Church of the Orient of Ukraine. This Baroque Galococo style, built in St. George's Hill, was completed in 1761. Travellers can watch the statues of San Leo and San Athana above the main entrance, as well as the display of the church's blend of Catholic and Orthodox styles. On the left side of the church, a statue of the Virgin is said to have shed tears when Turks and Swedes twice rounded the city in 1663. The old popularity of the weekend mass activities, next to the Elizabeth Church is not far worth visiting, the old town walks through Lviv University for ten minutes.

fantastic place for the first time ever.
Hundreds of years of restoration and reconstruction. Hundreds of years of erosion, the church has become a bit dilapidated.
The building of this church is large and magnificent, it may be a modern renovation and reconstruction, it is worth seeing. A little far from the old city, the appearance is beautiful, especially under the lights at night, but the inside is really average.
Standard Gothic revival architecture, once inside, the church's sense of solemnity and sanctity comes to its face, and it is indeed one of the great masterpieces of architectural history.
