What people are saying:

La Fortuna Waterfall in Costa Rica is one of the most famous natural sights here. Although the strange rocks of the waterfall are not very large, the drop is relatively high. There is a deep pool below which attracts many tourists to swim here. The waves of the water column machine are very large and powerful.

    Beautiful waterfall

Beautiful waterfall and setting, too bad they charge quite so much to go down to it. Nice cool swimming hole at the bottom

There are 2 spots to swim here.

When you get to the bottom of the 500 stairs, you will be compelled to go to the waterfall to the right. If you take the path to the left you get down to an amazing swimming spot so clear. Once coolin...
