Sillustani

Puno Sillustani is the site of funeral towers and the most mysterious historical relics in Puno. Many remains of ancient emperors are buried here. The tall funeral towers are very abrupt. This is the family cemetery of ancient nobles in Puno, with a very large area. Because it belongs to the Islamic area, every tomb will have towering minarets, each of which is of different heights and lows, which is very spectacular and worth visiting.

This tomb site is about an hour’s drive from Puno. It is a site of the Inca civilization. Under the high tomb tower, there is a burial ground for the Inca nobles. It is large in scale. The elevation here is about 4,000 meters. The temperature is very low and oxygen is lacking. Pay attention to heat preservation and oxygen protection when visiting.

It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to drive from Puno to here. The Sillustani funeral towers occupies a large area, and the tomb towers are scattered on the island, which are dotted with alpacas, and there is a desolate and lonely flavor between the movement and the quiet.
