Lahaina Harbor

Lahaina is a famous whaling town in Hawaii and of course we came here to see whales, basically all set off at Lahaina Harbor, the views are great and the restaurants are delicious

My God spent some money to clean this place, and indeed caught the Lanai submarine from here. The boat is old and tired. They are worried about pollution, but those old boats pollute more than anything I have ever seen. They want us to use special sunscreen to protect the coral reefs and water, while those old boats spray a gallon of oil and fuel into the water. It’s terrible. I can see that they need solar-powered boats in the future.

Come here in winter to go out to see whales. We chose a hotel near the small town of Lahaina because of its unique location. This small town has a big banyan tree park and many delicious seafood restaurants. The whole town is quiet and peaceful, very suitable for living and elderly care. There are not many people, which is different from Honolulu where there are many noisy and busy tourists.
