The Lahaina Seaport is one of the core areas of the capital of the Maui Kingdom. The first time the American flag was raised on the island was in the court square in front of the port. There is a linden tree that stretches for nearly an acre near the port, and it is quite spectacular to enter it and shade the sun. The parking lot is at the southeast corner of FrontSt&PrisonSt, with hundreds of parking spaces.
