Walking trail in Kuang Si Waterfall
#wheretogo
#laostrip
Nestled in the enchanting city of Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Waterfall is a true natural wonder that will leave you awe-inspired. As you make your way through the dense jungle, the melodic sounds of cascading water become more pronounced, foreshadowing the beauty that lies ahead.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by a mesmerizing display of turquoise pools and gentle cascades, each one more captivating than the last. The water seems to dance as it flows gracefully down the limestone formations, creating a symphony of sights and sounds that awaken your senses.
Take a moment to dip your toes into the cool, refreshing water or even dive in for a revitalizing swim. The pools are surrounded by lush greenery, providing a peaceful ambiance and a perfect escape from the heat. As you wade through the crystal-clear waters, the gentle touch of the cascades massages your tired muscles, rejuvenating your body and soul.
For the adventurous souls, a hike to the top of the waterfall is a must. The trek may be challenging, but the panoramic view that awaits you is worth every step. From the summit, you can marvel at the vastness of the lush forest, with the cascades below resembling a magical tapestry woven by nature itself.
Along the way, don't miss the opportunity to encounter some of the local residents - the playful black bears at the nearby rescue center. These adorable creatures are a delight to observe as they frolic in their natural habitat.
The journey to Kuang Si Waterfall is not just about witnessing its beauty; it's an experience that touches your heart and soul. It's a reminder of the power and majesty of nature, and a chance to reconnect with yourself in the midst of its serene surroundings.
Luang Prabang hidden turquoise GEM!
Kuang Si waterfall is located less than an hour from Luang Prabang and is well known for its turquoise waters. There are multiple pools scattered throughout the area where the main pool has rope swings and an overhanging tree limb where you can jump into the pool water.
The waterfall is easily accessible but be sure to bring along picnic mat, food and towels. Changing room and toilet are available. There are some eateries around the area where one can relax, take a swim and take in the magnificent views! Best to visit early of the day when the crowd is less. #waterfall #luangprabang #laos #Hiddengen #travelinspiration
A breathtaking sight in Luang Prabang, Laos
I’ll never forget this place in Laos, it was simply breathtaking. The hike was definitely worth it, it was quite hard for me, and it was even harder to hike back down. Quite slippery at the top, you need to be careful, because you will fall if you don’t. Overall, it’s definitely worth it. The pictures you can take here are simply priceless.
Will come back and I definitely recommend visiting. Cheers!

Wat Xieng Thong Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A spiritual beauty of Wat Xieng Thong
Step into a realm of tranquility as you enter this exquisite Buddhist temple. Admire the intricate gilded stupa, stunning mosaics, and ornate carvings that adorn the temple's structures. The peaceful atmosphere and lush surroundings create a sense of serenity. Discover the spiritual essence of Luang Prabang at Wat Xieng Thong, a place of beauty and reverence. Remember to keep silent and peace when entrance inside the temples. One more note, entrance fee is required at the gate.
A majestic temple from the 16th century!
It’s just overwhelming enough for me to see a temple built in the 16 century. You’ll really enjoy the temples here in Luang Prabang , The city is between the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, and according to UNESCO, contains some of "the most sophisticated Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia." Luang Prabang was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. You’ll also get to take a number of very nice shots here in Wat Xieng Thong.
Golden stupas at Wat Xienthong
The golden stupas situated on the northwest of Wat Xienthong, it was an amazing architecture, decorated by colorful Mosaics which looks like gem. This stupas is originally to put the bone of Buddha, but it is really a long history to tell.

Wat Xieng Thong
Wat Xieng Thong is one of the most important religious, archeological and historical temples in Luang Prabang. Getting there is pretty easy as it is located not far from downtown so it could be a 20 minutes walk if you are in downtown or max 8 - 10 min by car. The recommended sightseeing time is between one to two hours. The temple is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see in person. This is an impressive building extensively decorated both inside and outside with great amount of details. This site is famous as an important gathering place for significant annual festivities. It opens to the public everyday from 8am to 5pm.

Luang Prabang Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The night market in Luang Prabang is not like a market, because the merchants seem to be indifferent to business, they are busy with themselves, which is convenient for tourists to pick and choose, buy and sell, everyone is happy Just fine. The foreigner street in Bairi is an exotic pedestrian street filled with French style and Southeast Asian style. It turned into a night market at night.
It takes only 20 minutes to complete the entire night market. Most of the night market sells tourist souvenirs. Although it is not very attractive, it is also full of colorful and colorful. There are many bamboo products and paintings. In addition to the goods, there are some snack fruits, the price is not high.
I like the handicrafts here, the colorful, the exquisite hand-made dishes, the handmade paper lanterns are all the epitome of Luang Prabang culture.
Morning market is much more lively, mostly locals come out to buy, so the things sold are also more varied, vegetables, food, and some strange things, bustling, opened their eyes.
Night market and morning market are on the street of foreigners. The morning market is on the street north of the night market. The ceremony is also on the street of foreigners.
Address: Sisavangvong Road
Luang Prabang cuisine|Epoca Cafe
This epoca is a shop near the hotel where we stayed. It was more than two o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived in Luang Prabang. After we left our luggage, we went out to find something to eat.
Luang Prabang's day seems to be very quiet, probably everyone is a night owl. I was very interested in the shop next door to this store, but it seems to be a handicraft. I took a look at the menu at the entrance of this restaurant, and it seems that the price is acceptable.
The decoration is very small, the seats are not too much, maybe the room can accommodate up to ten people, and the outdoor can also sit ten people.
The menu selection is not too much. I ordered a Thai red curry and a chicken rice, and ordered a rice with curry. I wanted to order a cake, but the kind I wanted was gone, even if it was.
Thai red curry is a little thunder, there are too many spices, all kinds of bite dishes, basically eat a bite of spice that can not be bitten, this meal is too hard to eat.
The other rice is very much liked. The steamed rice used in the small bamboo building was originally bought when I wanted to go back to Vientiane. I didnt buy it. I felt that I could eat more bowls with this meal.
Chicken rice is much simpler, cucumber slices, tomato slices, lettuce, poached eggs, chicken fried vegetables are not much.
The overall cooking level is average, and the consumption of 89,000 kip. There are two orange cats in the store to patrol.

The most amazing morning market in Luang Prabang: snakes, owls, pink eggs, all kinds of wild vegetables on the mountain
buy a glutinous rice wrapped in leaves in the morning market, and eat while shopping. In fact, I have not figured out what the taste of these two glutinous rice is, but I like to eat pale pink. Black is not the black rice here. If you don't ask for it, the old lady will be mixed, then add sugar. One is 5000jp, this first sweet sweet glutinous rice is probably the taste of Luang Prabang.
There are everything in the morning market, the squid looks strange, the aunts sitting in the meat pile, and all kinds of vegetables and fruits from the mountains. There are also food stalls, baked beehive stalls, and very delicious local lemon slice tea. Of course, here are things you can't think of! I was amazed when I saw the pink egg. I saw the owl and the snake in the next second. The morning market is like the epitome of Luang Prabang. It is simple, human, and original. The peers are excited to say that this is a good time to return to the "fare", not because of the giving but because of the morning market.
Hotel photo guide | Luang Prabang must not miss the French colonial wind hotel
Le Bel Air Resort Luang Praban resort hotel, 20 minutes walk from the main street of the city center, 7.8 minutes by bike (free hotel loan), tutu car Its going to wander around a lot of roads (because there is no way to take the old bridge). The price is RMB 500-600 for one night. The hotel environment is explosive, the pool is great, and the service is great. It is worth mentioning that the hotel's restaurant itself is very delicious, the right hand is the old bridge, left turn can see the different scenes of the main street. Telling the truth, it is the most cost-effective hotel in Luang Prabang.
The rooms in the hotel are two-storey lodges. The rooms are large in size and are all available. I like the electric fans on the roof. The balcony is very large and comfortable, and everything is fine. I especially like the hotel's toiletries, and I can smell it when I smell it. These details are places where quality is outstanding, and the price is still so beautiful. Compared to the main street, the price is high, the environment is general, the facilities are general, and the environment is very noisy. It is really good here. What I like the most is these photos and pictures, these moments, I can't help but want to record. The stairs are very delicate. I recommend everyone to come here.
