The Magellan wooden cross built by Ferdinand Magellan on April 14, 1521 marks the colonization of these islands by the King of Spain. This attraction is also the first Christian-born Filipino Humabang and his wife, Joyner, and about 400 followers to accept the baptism of Magellan and his Spanish monks as Catholics. Between 1525 and 1740, Pastor Augustine built an open temple for the cross, and the local indigenous people began to scrape from the wooden cross, believing that the sawdust was magical. In order to protect the cross, a hollow cross built with Philippine peas and woods encased the original cross, and the cross still stands. Do you want to come here too, remember this maritime pioneer? tips: Manila flies in the fog, then go to the dock to buy a mint ticket, then you can leave your luggage at the dock, then take a car to the Town Hall Square.
