A theatre to be proud of…
An absolutely wonderful theatre. Big enough to put on some great productions with fabulously crafted sets and talented casts; small enough to be welcoming and comfortable. An ideal place to introduce children to the joys of live theatre or to just treat yourself to a good night out.

We visited The Little Theatres pantomime for the 3rd year running. This time it was Aladdin. Each year the show doesn’t disappoint. John the main guy makes it absolutely brilliant entertainment for all. The repeat scenes with the bench and line of singing are hilarious and parts we wait in anticipation for. John and the cast work so hard to make the show fun. The costumes are imaginative and keep you interested . The singing and jokes are spot on. We love spotting each member and remembering who they played the year before. Eg- Aladdin was Cinderella in 2021. We want to say Thankyou John for dancing around in them high heels Year after year and for the whole team who are just committed and the best by far. One big family.

The Little Theatre was the venue for the much longed for , first ever live meet up of The Collective virtual choir . More than 120 people from all over the world met there over three days , rehearsing , singing, performing , having lunch , enjoying the bar - and we could not have had a better place to do it all. The staff were amazing ,even managing to erect a ramp in an afternoon to enable two of our group to access the stage in their wheelchairs for the concert that evening. Replenishing the ice ream supply on the Sunday afternoon when it was SO hot was greatly appreciated. Like our choir, the Little Theatre is run by volunteers . We just loved being there for such a special weekend , and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff just put the icing on that Collective cake. Thank you so much.
