Reasons to Recommend: The Libo Seven Small Arches Scenic Area is located among the karst peaks south of the Libo County urban area. The attraction gets its name from a seven-arched bluestone bridge that crosses the noisy river there. The site incorporates all the beauty of mountains, water, trees, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. This natural splendor has combined with the authentic cultural flavor of the Tujia and Yao people of the area to bring fame to the area. Attractions like the ancient seven-arched bridge, the water forest, the crouching dragon pool, and Mandarin Duck Lake make the area like an earthly fairyland.
Reasons to Recommend: Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area is adjacent to and connected with the Libo Maolan National Nature Reserve. The entire scenic area is composed of the Xiaoqikong scenic area (small seven-arch bridge), the Daqikong scenic area (large seven-arch bridge), the Shuichun River scenic area and the Zhangjiang River scenic belt. The Xiaoqikong scenic area is the core scenic spot of Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area. Here, the large maze-like Yuanyang Lake is surrounded by dense vegetation, making for a thrilling boat journey.
Reasons to Recommend: Da Qikong (literally “seven holes”) is located in Libo County, Guizhou Province. The area is named after a bridge with seven arches over the Mengtang River. The main attractions include karst gorges and unusual rock formations. Visitors can go white water rafting and admire the steep cliffs. The picturesque rock faces are covered with stalactites and lush green trees.
Reasons to Recommend: This nature reserve is located in Guizhou Province's Libo County. The degree of commercialization in the scenic area is very low, and thus has maintained the dense original virgin forest. The karst landforms stand among the mountains, water, forests, caves, waterfalls and rocks. It is a wonderful place for catching a glimpse of untouched nature, while also serving as a paradise for outdoor sports enthusiasts.
Reasons to Recommend: Yuanyang Lake, located witin Libo County in Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, is a natural lake on Karst Plateau. While rowing across the lake, visitors will notice, upon careful examination, that the roots of trees are located in the crevices of the rocks inside the lake. Through those rocks, the trees become rooted in the river bed. Due to the landform, water depth, and changes to lightwave, the lake water can be seen in many different colors -- a very interesting scene.
