The trail starts at beulah or Frankfort .. with a choice of round trip, one way or round trip. It depends on you, but whatever you choose, you will be surprised by how scenic it is, with views of the crystal lake and various natural areas. I took a round trip hiking from Beulah but I definitely want to continue my bike ride in the future. Many tourists choose the sleeping bear dunes and miss the area. Well, because there are fewer people on the road! Definitely worth a try
