Huadu Pan'gu Temple

Panguwang Temple is located in Panguwang Mountain in the north of Shiling Town, Huadu. According to folklore, King Pangu was the god who opened up the heavens and the earth. He was born in the chaos of heaven and earth. Later generations built the Pangu King Temple to commemorate him. In the center of the hall of Pangu King Temple sits the statue of King Pangu. On the birthday of King Pangu on the 12th day of the 8th lunar month, people would come to celebrate in groups, cheering lions, and the scene was very lively. There is a half-mountain pavilion on the mountainside behind the temple, and there is a Qiankun stone on the west side, commonly known as the Pangu king lying stone. The Qiankun Stone is about 4 meters high and more than 30 square meters in size. There is a crack in the center. The crack is more than 30 cm wide and more than 1 meter deep. There are several staggered rocks nearby, and the bottom of the stone is a spring all year round, named Longkou Spring.
