Kuocang Mountain is located in the southwest of Linhai. The main peak, Mi Silang, is 1382 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak in southeastern Zhejiang. It is not as famous as Tianmu Mountain and Yandang Mountain, and it is a rare place in Zhejiang that has not been developed by tourism. There are not many artificial traces on the mountain. On the mountain，there is a monument to the first rays of dawn in the new century (Dawn Monument), marking it as the place where the first rays of dawn in mainland China shine in the 21st century. Perhaps because there is no tourism development, the road to Kuocang Mountain is not easy to walk. And when you stand on the mountain, you can see the open and rolling mountains, and the windmills of the wind power plant on the mountains are spinning day after day. There are often large clouds surrounding the mountains. At sunrise, the sun dyes the sea of clouds and the sky a gradient of orange, making you feel that the hard work all the way is worth it. Watching the sunrise at the Dawning Monument is quite a ritual.
