The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom’s gate seat faces south in the north. The house in the gate was built in the Ming Dynasty, which is simple and generous. At present, some of them are private houses for residents, some are public houses, and some are "Yunguzhai" of Linhai Museum. The house was originally owned by Wang Jiemei, and was sold to Lin and Chen in the sixth year (1826) and the thirteenth year (1833) of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, respectively. In October of the eleventh year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1861), Li Shixian, the servant king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, set off from Jinhua and divided his troops to attack Taizhou. On November 1, the eleventh year of Xianfeng (1861), Li Shixian led his army into Linhai and set up the headquarters in the Chen family here. In the first year of Tongzhi (1862), Li Shixian was ordered to return to support Tianjing. By April, the entire line was withdrawn from Taizhou, which lasted seven months in Taizhou. Taiping Tianguo Taimen was built by the Taiping Army. It is in the form of an eight-character gate with a simple and elegant shape. The private houses built in the Ming Dynasty in Taimen covers an area of about 450 square meters. The patio is 9 meters wide from east to west and 6.7 meters deep from north to south. There are seven main rooms and three east and west wings, all of which are two-story buildings. The roof of the main house is a hard hilltop, built to the top, and the front slope is slightly longer than the back slope. It is 32.7 meters wide and 11.24 meters deep. Among them, the width of the Ming room is 4.75 meters, the width of the secondary room is 3.35 meters, the width of the top room is 2.25 meters, and the depth of the front porch is 2.74 meters. The Ming room and the second room are halls, and the structure of the house is made of bucket-type wooden frame. There are seven frames per seam, and there are bucket arches on the stigma and the forehead, and the stigma family is decorated with a curlicue bird. The stigma of the front eaves is made to repeat the "eight" oblique arch, the sitting bucket is larger, and the diameter of the bucket is basically the same as the diameter of the column; In the Ming Dynasty and the next time, there are two sets of flat body subjects, all of which are made by Tong Gong. There are no bucket arches between the ends and the ends. There are five beams inward, three beams outward, and five beams in the outer seam between the ends. The beams of the front porch are made of moon beams, and the cornices are decorated with chrysanthemum patterns. The structure of the hatchback has changed in the Qing Dynasty, and it is no longer the original appearance.
Located in the Taizhou Fucheng Scenic Area in Linhai City, near Ziyang Street, it seems to have become an ordinary residential house. When I passed by, I went in and looked at it. There was nothing to go shopping. I took a photo and punched in.
It is worth going, because it used to be the Taiping Temple of Heaven, a witness to history. However, now there are people living in it and it has become a residential house. It looks very messy. How to change it to a Taiping Tianguo Exhibition Hall, and introduce the situation at that time with some pictures and text. Now I can only look at the words on the sign to feel it.
It is worth a visit. Although I have lived in the residents now, this building used to be the platform gate of the heavenly kingdom. When you step over the gate, will you feel the time retreat? Go and feel it!
