Tate Liverpool is located in a converted warehouse in Albert Dock. It was built in 1988 and is the largest modern art gallery after London. It attracts nearly 600,000 visitors every year and is known as the art of northern England. The house has a large collection of art treasures from the 20th century to the present. The pavilion has 4 floors. The first floor is dominated by paintings, showing British modern art from 1900 to 1940. The second floor is an exhibition of works by Pop artist Peter Blake.
