What people are saying:

On October 11, 2020, I went to Wawu Mountain and walked along Liyang No.1 Highway. It was a beautiful environment with few cars and good air. It was a leisurely place. When I drove to Baozang Temple, I thought I could not get in when the temple door was not opened. I walked through the small side door on the left and walked round and round to a construction site. It turned out to be the Maitreya Buddhist Temple, which was suspended due to insufficient funds. Only after passing through the construction site can I enter the Baozang Temple. The temple is quite quiet and strict.

Additional Information

Introduction

Famous figures in China's history, such as Li Bai and Meng Jiao, once climbed up Wawushan Mountain. There are mountains and lush forests here, with a flat slope on the mountain top. Looking at it from the distance, it looks like a house made of gray tiles, so it is named Wawushan Mountain. Not far away from Liyang and bordering Jurong, the tourism of Wawushan Mountain is less developed, so most of the forests' original style has been preserved. There is a treasure temple, attracting some tourists exploring the quiet and secluded life. With little transport available, it is best to visit this scenic spot by car.
