highly recommended. it’s breathing taking view from atop overlooking lake bled! super! love the place❤️
The castle is not that big, however, it is worth a visit as long as you find yourself in ljubljana. The ticket entrance is 10 euros, which l think it is reasonable, and it includes the museums, the tower and some other parts as walls and chapels. While the view from the castle is great, but l think the city does not offer that much as the style and the architecture seem like the same. Well, to conclude, it is not very impresive, just worth a visit. What l like best was the puppet museum.
it is 4€ to get up to the castle in the funicular and another 11€ to get into the castle and walk around. i did not take the funicular - I walked. its a pleasant walk under the trees. I also did not go into the castle but I walked around it. it is quite large. a great experience would be to take food and juice and have a nice picnic at the top as the view is beautiful. One piece of advice - dont walk down the if it is raining. the water rushes down like a flodding river! my shoes were soaked by the time i got to the bottom.

I'm sorry to say Slovenia is the only country I've ever visited that can't even remember the name of the capital. It's really super nonexistent. The only scenic castle has no earth-shaking stories and no ornamentals. The road to the castle is steep, especially when it snows. As the capital, it's really hard to impress people...
