## Milan Cathedral, built in 1386, is an iconic building in the heart of Milan. The main body of the church was basically completed in 1812 after more than four centuries, and the detailing works continued until the last bronze door of the church was installed in 1960. Year has not only given its history vicissitudes, but also created a variety of styles for it, Gothic spires with Baroque carvings, from top to bottom, extremely luxurious. The gilded Madonna statue at the top of the church has been quietly guarding the city, and the glass-clad in the inner basement has been sleeping in the Cardinal San Carlo Borromeo, who died in 1584. 1805, Napoleon was crowned here and became the king of Italy. During the Second World War, the front door of the church was bombed and the "scar" left behind can still be seen today. church opening time: 8
