@Ctrip Food Forest is also one of my favorite Italian restaurants in London. It is the sister restaurant of Clover Club, hidden in the quiet Farringdon area. Entering the restaurant&#39;s inconspicuous small door, first a chic bar, and passing through the hall will come to a glass room. When the weather is good, it is very pleasant to eat in the sun. The restaurant also has a small garden, very southern Italian style. In addition, if there is a private party, they also have private rooms. It is a warm restaurant that makes me feel at home. The seasonal ingredients of the restaurant are sourced from the UK and Italy, providing exquisite traditional Italian cooking, but not formal. When we went last time, Mushroom with duck egg, Squid ink pacccheri, Kale wave pasta left a deep impression on us. The main course was ordered Beef fillet, and the wild garlic mayonnais was also amazing. I chose lemon pie for dessert. I was afraid it would be a bit sour, but the sugar is well-mastered. I remember that when I first went, I was amazed by an apple dumpling. His menu often changed, and I never had a repeat dish.

Tops for food, service and value. &pound;40 including four courses and four wines. Our set meal consisted of squid, foie gras, lamb casserole and pineapple with ice cream. The set meals change constantly, so next time we, and you, will eat something different. The brown bread (included) was good. We were offered more bread. Good service, very friendly and helpful. Coffee was extra - no chocolate nor sweetmeat with the coffee nor the bill. But the coffee was &#39;cheaper than Starbucks&#39;, said the one who ordered it. Toilets down steep stairs. Washbasin for midgets. No plug. On the plus side, amusing artwork. Any drawbacks? I hate bar stools and I slid off the narrow banquettes. Only the last wine seemed to really complement the food. but four free/included wines - I&#39;m not complaining. No alternative to starter of squid. I managed to eat around it and give my squid to a companion. But great value, unusual dishes, fun. Highly recommended. This is why I save five stars for special food.
