We wanted to have a break in the Seven Dials quarter and we went for afternoon drinks in this pub. Service at the bar as always and the drinks were good: Pim's for my wife and a pint of beer for me. We managed to find a table by the window so we were able to keep watching the vibrant atmosphere outside. We had a good time.
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu, Mercer Street, which is at the centre of the Seven Dials area of London. The area is well cared for and is full of vibrant individual shops and restaurants. The Seven Dials almost has an independent, village-like atmosphere to it, yet is situated close to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and lots of other tourist areas, all within walking distance.
A crazy intersection where 7 streets converge. Each street is worth exploring as each has it's own mix of shops, restaurants and bars. Amazingly it is hidden away just a few blocks from Covent Garden tube station.
Seven Dials is one of my favourite places for relaxing in London - mainly as it's hidden away from tourists. I love the fairy lights and the amazing wine bars and restaurants.
Stayed in a hotel here. Great location for walking around the west end. Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Roas and Leicester Square tubes nearby.
