Visited for a friends birthday. Set Lunch menu was fantastic. Service, ambiance and knowledge of staff about everything on the menu was first class. A visit to the table from Michel Roux was an added bonus. Will be visiting again.
Among the high-end restaurants in the UK, the price is relatively cheap. The environment is English-style. The dining table and layout inside are very good, especially the red wine glasses, which are very authentic, and many glasses are not available.
A well-known old store on Downing Street, the taste is really good, but the shortcomings are also very obvious. The dishes are too lacking in new ideas, and they have a style of cooking from the last century. I really doubt whether the old store has basically not changed the menu in so many years.
When traveling nearby with a few friends, I saw recommendations and came to this restaurant. Everyone ordered a steak. I thought my one was the best, and his service attitude was quite satisfactory. The dishes are also very good, recommended.

1. The price can be considered cheap in European two-star restaurants. 2. I did not order the set meal. I ordered seasonal scallops (appetizer), lamb shoulder (recommended by the chef on the day, not on the menu), and desserts of the same name in the restaurant. The taste is very good, the amount of delicious traditional French meal. 3. I highly recommend her wine list, there are more than half a dozen by glass sherry from the winery! ! ! It couldn't be more beautiful as a finishing touch. 4. I don't like her restaurant too much, the light is a bit dim. 5. Even in the off-season, I booked four weeks in advance, during which the restaurant confirmed with me three times! Many people are on the waiting list.
