As a little innovation they put a little glass jay of beer in front of each pump so customers can see the colour of the beer before they order. Nice. Seems to be a talking point with customers too.
At £5.25 a pint for a craft lager, a better than normal pint glass, maybe of the same brand, would be nice! It's not always about the drink alone! :-) not a criticism, more an observation I suppose..
Not to mention the resident ales - taylors landlord particularly good this evening!
A Taylor-Walker pub, which means hearty food and good booze.
Quiet place to drink something after work.
Rather drinkable guest ales here.
Good food, great beers
A truly wonderful little pub opposite the Britsh Museum, with a good selection of taps on offer. Saw a party ordering the fish and chips, it looked and smelt gorgeous and I was very jealous!
Met up with friends for a birthday party here. It's a nice little put across the street from the British Musuem.
Adequate fish and chips, if you're in a hurry and want to head back into the museum to explore some more.
