Having tried Caribbean, Nepalese and Thai food on recent visits to Ealing we decided to give Sri Lankan food a go. The menu offers a great variety of meat and vegetarian dishes as it also specialises in Southern Indian food. There was a real variety of flavours and textures in the dishes we tried. My favourites were the matar paneer, deviled prawns and mutton curry. The service was great and the Sri Lankan beer was a good accompaniment.

Papaya

It was our first time at Laguna Restaurant, but it will not be our last. We eat a lot of Indian food and have been to India itself, so are pretty good at distinguishing between a run of the mill restaurant and something more special. There were many interesting and authentic dishes on the menu not seen in other restaurants. We will look forward to coming back as there are many more good dishes still to try. Staff were very welcoming too.

A friendly welcome as always and good that tastes authentically Italian. All pasta tasted fresh and the risotto had a fantastic texture and flavour.

We were invited by a Sri Lankan client to Papaya and they even opened on a Thursday lunch to to cater for us. What we experienced was a range of dishes that were second to none as our client asked for a set menu for us. After the starter I was full, then the main courses (in the plural) arrived and boy oh boy did they arrive. At one point we had nothing short of 30 different plates, and every one was a flavoursome pleasure. Really looking forward to going back during regular service to eat a bit more sensibly !
