We visited in the daytime so would imagine it would be more atmospheric in the evening, HOWEVER, these guys know how to serve food and present good wines. Cocktails seemed to be a hit with people droppng in too!!!! The staff were uber friendly and the owner Daniel was charming and extremely interesting. This place really abides by the old addage &quot;confuscious says man without smiling face should not open shop&quot;. Worth a visit

I took my students to Areoa &amp; Co to explore and try Venezuelan food. They were happy with the service, the food, which was yummy and they were also able to practise Spanish. Very friendly staff. I&#39;ll definitely go back!!

Very good restaurant, but basically raw, many dishes are not used to eating, but the environment is good, the ham is not bad, is a high-end ham, the price is a bit expensive, the beer inside is very good.

Paradise Road the Gallery Cafe This was once the old house of Lancashire National Treasure Master Bawa, and now it is a Western cafe. We ate the best lamb chops in Colombo here, and it was also a big meal.

The staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was loud and fun on the Friday we visited. Unfortunately we booked in for a family meal, when actually this is more a location you&#39;d dine AND drink cocktails with friends. It was a little too loud to engage in conversation with everyone. The food was good and the cocktails were even better. The &pound;42 steak however left a little to be desired. I&#39;d go back for a night with friends but not for a meal.

We ordered various combinations of &#39;eggs&#39; as described on the menu. It took about about 40 minutes for our food to arrive (even though there were only three other tables). We each got one &#39;egg&#39; on a piece of bread with our preference of accompaniment. Stingy times

I&#39;ve been here a few times, for brunch, dinner and drinks. While I generally feel the venue lacks atmosphere it has always been pleasant enough. However, a few friends and I just left resident of paradise row after heading for a couple of evening drinks. We were hoping for a friendly casual atmosphere, (as we received the week before) what we were faced with was rude bar service, and a clientele that all seemed to work there or be friends of staff, but all appeared to be completely inebriated. Many items on the menu were unavailable without apology, and the only cider we were offered was given to us at a higher cost than listed on the menu. After paying for drinks we persisted and sat to play a game, during this time we were bothered by multiple people, one of whom told us she was the manager but appeared to be absolutely wasted. At 9:30 wanting to buy a second round of drinks as our game was mid way through we went to the bar, 20 minutes after we had arrived - we were rudely told the bar was closed. We had not been informed at any point the bar would be closing. Despite 3/4 members of staff being on nobody made any effort to inform us of last orders, we were the only table inside the bar. One waiter tried to make the situation better by telling us they we&#39;re open until 10:30 and we were able to stay for the next hour... A prospect that didn&#39;t seem that appealing with empty glasses no one had made an effort to clear. We decided to rapidly leave. The toilets were absolutely foul, wet floors, reeked of piss, and generally unkempt. A hygeine issue that appeared to carry on onto the floor with the only waiter constantly playing and flicking his long untied hair. The complete lack of regard for guests is unacceptable in any establishment, it wasn&#39;t just uncomfortable we felt completely unwanted. It felt like we&#39;d walked into a private party to which we had not been invited and certainly were not welcome. Given the opening time on the door is 11pm this was a shocking reve
