We have been thinking about to go to Gordon Ramsay (Hospital Road) for quite some time and post the lifting of lockdown this felt like a good opportunity. A word of warning for anyone who decides to drive allow a little extra time to find parking as it did take us about ten minutes to find somewhere. When we got to the restaurant, it was well worth the extra time. The atmosphere is lovely and felt very Covid secure. The welcome was warm and the tables were nicely set apart. The menu is on first sight quite simple but the combinations of flavours when the dishes arrive are sublime. There are no offers for side dishes and quite frankly you don’t need them. The signature starter dish of the ravioli was fabulous as was the beef with leeks.
This restaurant is made by a famous British chef. The main course inside is pretty good, the appetizer is average, but the desserts after the meal are very delicious. Both my wife and I are delicious, and the cakes are very good. It's still hot.
Coming here for a meal can almost be called visiting a place instead of going to a restaurant. From the moment of relaxation when you enter the door, to the subsequent appearance of the kitchen, and the interaction with the chef in the future, it is full of people. Surprise.
A meal from 7 o’clock is tired after eating for four hours. Generally speaking, it’s not particularly amazing. The desserts are relatively a bit bad, but the butter on the bread is really good and the taste is different from the outside. The appetizer, the main course, three desserts, and a few courses of Chef's Surprise that are not on the free menu, plus the optional bread that can be renewed indefinitely.
The environment can also be located, very good choice.
Good environment, good choice of location.
Great location, really enjoyed it.
