The legendary Michelin Spanish Restaurant, Red Shrimp 🦐 is the best in the whole field. Unfortunately, the impact of the epidemic did not reach the inkfish rice dumplings.
The Ritz, the best English afternoon tea artist, paid a lot of money to listen to the harp and enjoy the lady-like treatment.
Had a hankering for fish & chips and this didn’t disappoint! The cod was beautiful and the chips out of this world. Have been to many coastal fish & chip places, both takeaway and eat in anc have to say this beats almost all of them!
Rock and Sole Plaice is a century-old fish and chip restaurant located in Covent Garden, a famous business district in London. It is about ten minutes walk from the subway station. You can see shops along the way. The shop area is not very large and decorated It has a very ancient taste. The main product is fried fish and chips. This is a famous British dish. There are several varieties of fried fish and different sizes. However, the specific supply depends on the situation of the day, and it tastes crispy. French fries are also good, but fried things are always easier to get greasy, just order a serving for two to taste.
They claim to make the best fish and chips in town but I didn''t think theirs tasted any better than the ones in other chip shops. I ordered a small portion (take-away) since I have a small stomach.
This is one of my favourites fish and chips in London. It is located in the heart of London and the staff is very good, but the only down side is THE PRICE. It is very expensive!
This is how Fish and Chips should be. The quality of the ingredients and the way they are cooked is exactly what I expect from a great chippy. We had a sit-down meal (having booked in the morning when we were passing - given how busy it is I would definitely recommend booking) and the service was attentive and fast enough given how many of us we were. The decor is traditional chippy, you don''t come here for a romantic candle-lit dinner for two. It''s busy, it''s relatively loud but even my Northern friends can''t take it away from this chippy - there are excellent fish and chips to be had down south.
We stopped in for fish and chips and a meat pie for lunch as part of a tour - excellent! My 13 year old gobbled up the fish and I greatly enjoyed my beef and onion pie and a Fullers London Pride. Excellent lunch - best I had in London.
I had been wanting to eat from here for the past five years - I live in Australia and don''t get to Covent Garden very often! - and was therefore very excited to go there again recently. The fish and chips are amazing, good quality fish, yummy chips - however it is very expensive!!
