Service was a little slow, just to order drinks and ask for more water but they werw busy. For a while we were not sure who was serving us but after that they redeemed themselves and the food was deliscious and very reasonably priced for London. Favourites cheese burger tacos and hispi cabbage!

Excellent service, drinks and food. Great atmosphere and a lovely place to unwind after a day of shopping. Our complimentary sambuca at the end of the evening was the icing on the cake. Cannot wait to return (soon)

Had a brilliant evening in the St James&#39; bar in The Sofitel Hotel. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly and polite. Great cocktail and drinks menu - lots to choose from. The bar food menu was also a welcome sight, lots of choice from small plates to a cheeseburger - recommend the pork small plate. It was such a good experience, it prompted me to dine at the restaurant in the hotel on another occasion when another venue in the area had let me down

This is the bar in the Sofitel were we stayed during a visit to London It is small but the service, food and beverage and attention to detail was fantastic.

We had wine, Charcuterie and cheese, Calamari and Haddock croquettes after a theatre trip. The food was good, we especially liked the Haddock. The bar is a nice relaxing place to sit in. although it was pretty busy while we were there. The staff are friendly, and although a little slow on occasion, I think that might just be the culture of the hotel to be more &quot;chilled&quot; than &quot;busy&quot;. Not a cheap snack, but a classy place in central London is not going to be.
