This is a beautiful wood-panelled restaurant with an almost clubby feel to it. The service was helpful and attentive, though they did rather disappear at bill-paying time. My partner had the fish of the day (cod) and I had the steak and mushroom pie - both delicious. The pie came with a lovely rich jus, and the side order of chips was one of the best I&#39;ve ever had. Great selection of wines too - we really enjoyed the Malbec.

Found this gem of a restaurant by reviews and thank goodness we did. Fabulous food and wine and the service was just that perfect blend that many restaurants these days only wish for. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We can&#39;t wait for our next visit.

Been here a few times and it&#39;s a solid, reliable and cosy place with good food and a great wine list. Small  so it doesn&#39;t get crazy loud like most places these days and has a nice intimate ambience.

From the outside you are simply not aware of the warm greeting, great food and great service inside. Couldn&rsquo;t fault the people experience in any way.

My son and I came here for the roast beef Sunday lunch. Great ambiance, wonderful staff, especially Jose. The beef was perfect. We enjoyed it so much we even had a treacle tart for dessert. Congrats to all the staff.
