Chill at the back of the pub. Its very decorative and one of the narrowest streets you can find in london just like in venice!
When you hit this place when it's not crowded, vibe here is fantastic just as the selection of ales is.
London Pub of the Year 2010. As voted by Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA)
Always fantastic beers on tap. A great place to spend an afternoon.
CAMRA-tastic though don't let that put you off, they pick beers with bold flavour profiles, some are even over 6% ;) Often crowded, with good reason - it's a lovely traditional pub and quite unique.
Found a jolly proper good pub with good ales, senior Brit lads singing it out titmouse style over a pint all shining with joy, nice busty ladies pouring goodness in glasses and stuff. Hail this F squa
This is the best real ale pub in London. If that wasn't good enough, the cuisine (sausages) are delish. The bonus is upstairs, a quiet lounge from which to sit in & watch London go about its business
Nowhere near as good as its reputation suggests. The beer i had was no better than weatherspoons and broken english service routine for london rather than friendly! worth another chance.
"An oasis of calm and good cheer amid the noise and chaos of Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. Real ales, often from local breweries such as Meantime and Ascot Ales, are the draw..."
