A wonderful afternoon trip from London. Not much to see in the house, but the grounds and gardens are beautiful.
eltham palace is love places to go to because it all green and quite
Art deco splendour were you least expect to find it. It's a bit of a schlep from central London but you'll be rewarded by the most stunning 1930s interiors. Note: this isn't the original palace which was the childhood home of King Henry VIII but the home of wealthy industrialists the Courtauld family, until 1944.
Interesting palace situated out in South East London which contains a mixture of architecture from the Middle Ages and Art Deco
