History of time
A fascinating place for star gazers and non star gazers alike to visit. It also contains London's only remaining planetarium which is worth a visit
Bound to be a highlight for any geography buff or anyone interested in world exploration.
Home of Greenwich Mean Time & the Prime Meridian, the Royal Observatory is considered one of the world's most important & historic scientific sites. It is the official starting point for every day, year & millennium at the stroke of midnight Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), as measured from the Prime Meridian. It is fun to stand in the eastern & western hemispheres, simultaneously, by placing your feet on either side of the Prime Meridian....a good photo op!
