Good food, lots of variety and choices. I went with some friends and we spent an hour or two going through the small area checking out the food.
Walked thru Chinatown didn't get to eat. But the Resturant's all look delicious
A combination of good inexpensive places and high end restaurants. Was a favorite to go grab Peaking duck and plum sauce
You must come check this place out! It has the most delicious gourmet chinese restaurants, desserts, and bubble tea cafes! Also, it's very easy to navigate since it's between two subway stations, Leicester and Picadilly Circus. The later it is, the livelier it get in Chinatown. I would recommend you to come here at night and in ther afternoon for lunch if time allows.
Chinatown is a fun place to explore, buy some groceries, and enjoy walking around. The streets are packed in this area, so be mindful.
Has a unique buzz to it, unlike any other part of London. Quite small, but a great place to visit for food and a bit of variety
It's not really big and it is close to other tourist places such as Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus
It is probably not as big as the one in San Fransisco, but it is a definitive place to get an authentic Chinese meal, sometimes cheaper than other place, though do not let yourself tempted with the allure of 'eat as much as you like' for £5 marketing ploy! There are other places where you can do this 'safely' but not here, here you might just get stomach ache if you are lucky. But the normal restaurants are pretty good, go for those ones instead. Apart from culinary delight, China Town also is one of the only way to get oriental ingredients, they have a few mini markets over there. During the Chines New Year they also hold some street party and celebration including the Dragon Dance. If you are planning to go there, give me a buzz, I let you know which one to go :)
