posh neighbourhood in London - Kensington 🇬🇧
Kensington is without the doubt my favourite neighbourhood in London. It's the place where I chose to go for my Sunday walks, show to family & friends when they come to visit and - go to take pictures as - let's be honest - the aesthetics there are on point! Kensington is an affluent and prestigious neighborhood in West London and it is known for its elegance, cultural attractions, beautiful parks, and upscale residences. The neighbourhood is characterized by elegant Victorian and Georgian architecture, luxurious residences and garden squares, giving it a refined and exclusive atmosphere.
Kensington's combination of cultural landmarks, green spaces, fine dining, and upscale shopping makes it an attractive destination for both locals and visitors seeking a blend of luxury, history, and cultural experiences in London. My advice? Take a tube to South Kensington, get off the underground and simply - go get lost! I can assure you, that's the best way to explore! :) Psst! Make sure to have your camera with you, to take a picture with the backdrop of the famous white houses - they're so picturesque! :) #London #localguides #mytravelhacks #Kensington
I walked from the Gloucester hotel to this place. I lived in a small apartment in this area years ago. As at that time, it was a wealthy area with many upscale homes, restaurants and shops. One of my favorite shops is the home and decorations called Conlan. The store displays beautiful furniture. In addition to the store, I visited the museum here.
I met a friend here who was here for almost ten years. We walked together in this place with great restaurants, universities, hotels and historic buildings. I was happy to immerse myself in the beauty of some London.
We stayed at the hotel and asked if there is a special residential area at the front desk of the hotel. The front desk recommended the residential area of Nankenxington. It is definitely not a scenic spot. It is quite interesting to stroll around. Things are cheaper than scenic spots.
South Kensington is a relatively old residential area in London, where the buildings are more distinctive and the overall appearance is very good. The residential area is well planned. The roads, shops, restaurants and bars are distributed in the residential area. There is not a bit of chaos, which makes it easy to regard it as a rich area.
South Kensington is a large residential area in London, with Victorian and Georgian characteristics as well as a subway station. Most people use the station to visit museums such as the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science and the Albert Museum, the Royal Geographic Society and so on.
