In the United States is the daily western food rhythm, Western food is basically order steak or lamb chop, lamb chop will have a little taste of sheep, so basically order more steak, basically want to cook three.
Business at lunch time is still very good, and it is different from the usual Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, and ham. This restaurant is biased towards innovation. There are many classic dishes from other European cuisines, such as British fried fish. It's pretty good.
Incredible food. Perfect with friends or family. Nice small but shareable plates. Wonderful modern Italian cuisine with creative flavors. Definitely one of the best restaurants on this (whole) side of town. Definitely a great example of the wonderful and eclectic cuisine that can be found in LA.
I went to Alimento for dinner thanks to my boyfriend who booked it after seeing it was a good place for vegetarian food. The atmosphere is cosy and simple, the waitress was really sweet and helpful with choosing something of the way-too-tempting menu and the food was simply delicious. Everyone, including us, looked surprised when getting their plates. Every dish is a surprise, both in terms of flavours and presentation. The wines were nice, the desert original and the prices are not crazy. I therefore highly recommend this place.
First time at Alimento and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the service was very good. We had four dishes, Lamb Belly, White Bean Soup, White Radicchio Salad and Spelt Pasta. All were delicious. We were not expecting the portions to be as large as they are so we didn't have room for desert. Our total tab was $150 for two people including tip and four glasses of wine. I think this is a good value for the quality of the food. We will be back to enjoy other items on the menu.
