We went there for my Wifes Birthday. She has always wanted to go there for dinner and even more so that she knew it was used in a season of " American Horror Story". Well I made reservations for 6:30. They have convenient front door Valet parking so that was easy. We were greeted and taken to our table. The Waiter approached us and introduced himself and took our drink orders. I had the Cosmopolitan ( it was quite good ). I informed the waiter that it was my Wife's birthday and gave him a small cake I had brought for us to celebrate with and he promptly took it back to the kitchen. He returned with our order and began to explain the items on the menu and what the specials of the day were. The menu is somewhat limited but the items on it all sound delicious. My Wife choose to start with the Beet salad it was very nice with fresh beets. I started with the Scallops ( they were nicely seared and very tasty ) . My Wife had the Alaskan Halibut it was perfection. I had the Seafood selection ( Alaskan Salmon, Fresh Seabass, and Scallops ) I really enjoyed the fish very much it was not over cooked to death like most places. For dessert my wife had the Raspberry creme Brulle ... she loved it .. I had the melting chocolate cake and really enjoyed it. So the food is very good. As for the location itself there is not much more to say than you have to see it to believe it. it is a beautiful , restored, art deco space. Get dressed up and you cannot look out of place here. They have a bar upstairs if you choose not to eat there and I would recommend it so that you can at least have a look around. On certain nights they have themed live music and events. It is a really nice place to celebrate a special occasion. if you want to impress someone or give them a really nice surprise bring them here. The price is around $100 a person for drinks and dinner ... My Wife loved it and it was well worth the price.
