I have only eaten here for lunch because it is near my work in downtown L.A. I have always have good meals. They have fresh soup, salads and sandwiches. Nothing is really over $12 and most of the sandwiches run around $8 or $9. They also serve beer and wine. The place is casual. You grab your menu and water when you walk in and then the waiter comes over. I've always found the service to be good and reasonably fast but I haven't been there when it was really crowded. I know they serve breakfast and dinner and have specials on certain nights like half priced burgers but you will have to check other reviewers for those. I would definitely recommend for lunch.
