The 44-acre area represents the origins of Los Angeles as a typical "Spanish" village re-creation. While accurate, the area in downtown Los Angeles was originally an Italian enclave, not a Mexican one. East Los Angeles has more Hispanic culture but not very tour friendly. I gave this attraction only 3 stars because it was smaller, overpriced, touristy and it was hard to find parking nearby. The best option is to find a street parking a few blocks away from Chinatown which is also a popular tourist attraction. Best representative of old Spanish / Mexican culture. Available in Santiago, Baboa Park and Old Town Santiago.

Anyone wanting to learn about the early history of Los Angeles must visit this place. Their daily 45-60 minute free walking tour is very educational. There are several local restaurants, from restaurant meals to authentic Mexican food stalls run by couples. There are 25 historical buildings, some of which have been converted into small museums. For example, there is a special study of Chinese American history and a "Fire Train" with a horse on display. We also highly recommend you to the oldest Adobe company in Los Angeles.
It’s hard to believe that this is the place where Los Angeles started many years ago. I have a good feeling about this place. Many stalls selling things and drinks have been renovated. The food stores and toilets are very clean. I could have stayed here for a while. Time, but we are on the way to Los Angeles International Airport through the farmers market.
This is actually a community of Mexicans, with some Mexican community culture and atmosphere in it. I don't think it is an ancient city, but you can experience different ethnic cultures.
To say that the United States has an ancient city, it is really a bit reluctant. It may at best be a place where the aborigines lived in the past. In fact, it doesn't feel like an ancient city at all. On the contrary, it is quite modern.
