Pretty great place to find different kinds of styles for yourself or to sell. But search carefully, some stuff is poorly made.
Quick fashion at disposable prices! There are some really good fashion finds within the garment/fashion district but it all depends on luck, patience, and timing. Whenever I am in the area with my value conscious girlfriends, we always make this a must stop for us. Always on look on for good deals!
Make a day of this and get your bargain shopping on!!! Although the majority of business in the LA Fashion District is dedicated to wholesale business, retail shopping is a vital part of the District's landscape. The LA Fashion District is a bargain hunter's paradise, with over 1,000 stores that sell to the general public at wholesale discounted prices. Shoppers can expect to find bargains of 30% to 70% off of retail prices on apparel and accessories for the entire family, plus textiles and flowers.
Most of the stuff in the L.A. Fashion District, also known as the Garment District, isn't the most "fashionable" or high quality, but sometimes you can find a gem. It's especially great for formal wear or bridesmaid dresses, though. Make sure to bargain down your price when you buy multiples!
If you don't like crowds, you won't like this place. There are people walking around EVERYWHERE. Plus, expect difficult parking. Besides those two minor setbacks, shopping in this district can be really fun, especially if you like bargain shopping. You can find some highly affordable shoes, clothes, accessories and textiles.
