Lake Hollywood Park

I studied the Hollywood hiking route and found that most of it takes 2 to 3 hours. Because I only have one day to visit Los Angeles, I was excited to find this park to see the Hollywood sign up close. The park is easily accessible by car or by Uber taxi. If you want to see the sign closer, you can hike for 10 minutes.

I want to go to the Observatory to see the Hollywood logo, but it coincides with the Griffith Observatory's rest on Monday. I can only go to the Hollywood Lake Park not far from the Observatory to see the Hollywood logo. The following are three better places to watch the Hollywood logo (Hollywood Sign): 1 Hollywood Boulevard & North Highland Avenue junction, the furthest viewing point; 2 Griffith Observatory (Griffith Observatory); 3 Lake Hollywood Park, the nearest viewing point, within the scope of Griffith Park (Griffith Park).

The park has a stunning view of the Hollywood sign. You just have to wait patiently for the parking space. People come over, take pictures, and leave. We only spent ten minutes doing what we wanted to do and when we walked back to our car, the cars before and after had changed. We only planned to stay for fifteen minutes, but you might need to spend extra time waiting for the parking space.

This park, although only parking on the street, has a great view of the Hollywood sign, I definitely recommend it compared to Griffith Observatory. Actually, there are two places to see the Hollywood sign well, one in the park and the other less than three minutes walking distance from the park. We didn't walk to the Lishan hiking trail because it was hot, but still had a great time and took a lot of superb photos.
