The Museum of Modern Art (Museum of Modern Art) is a museum located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, and one of the most outstanding collections of modern art in the world; referred to as MOMA. Located on 53rd Street in Manhattan (between Fifth and Sixth Avenues), this museum is often compared with the Metropolitan Museum. Although the collection is less than the former, the museum has more important collections in the field of modern art. The Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1929. The main sponsors are Abby Aldridge Rockefeller (the wife of Rockefeller Jr.), Mary Quinn Sullivan (Mary Quinn Sullivan) and Lily Bliss (Lillie P. Bliss) ﹚, the construction and collection management are mainly financed by the Rockefeller family. The back sponsor in the 1940s and 1950s was Nelson Rockefeller, the son of Abby Aldridge Rockefeller, who once called the museum nicknamed " Mother's Museum".
