St. George’s Cathedral is now in charge of the Ukrainian Eastern Catholic Church. This Baroque Gallococo style, built in the church of St. George’s Hill, was completed in 1761. Travelers can pay attention to the statues of St. Leo and St. Athanas above the main entrance, as well as the display style of the temple that blends Catholic and Orthodox. A statue of the Virgin is displayed on the left side of the church. It is said that the Turks in 1663 and the Swedes shed tears in 1704. There is a mass event on the ancient popular weekend. It is not far from the Elizabeth Church and it is worth a visit. The old city is a ten-minute walk past the University of Lviv.
