What people are saying:

Heijing Ancient Town is one of the four ancient towns in Yunnan. Located on the bank of Longchuan River 98 kilometers northwest of Lufeng County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, 75 kilometers away from Chuxiong and 200 kilometers away from Kunming. Heijing opened a well for boiling salt since the Han Dynasty. Over 2,000 years, it has formed an ancient town with a prosperous economy and developed multiculturalism. It is especially prosperous in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is known as the "living fossil of Ming and Qing society". The layout of the Heijing Ancient Town is reasonable and ingenious. It is arranged along the east and west banks of the Longchuan River. The Wuma Bridge connects the east and the west of the ancient town. In its heyday, Shisantiaofang and more than 30,000 people rendered Heijing a brilliantly illuminated city that never sleeps. The ancient town of Heijing still fully preserves the town pattern of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
