Photos of Luoyang Longmen Guanghuasi (East Gate)

Luoyang Guanghua Temple is located on a hill in the west of Longmen Village and was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. There are 199 large stone steps in front of the temple. All the buildings in the temple are imitating the Qing Dynasty, with blue tiles and red bricks. There are mainly Shanmen, Tianwang Hall, Jialan Hall, Sanzang Hall, Kizang Hall, etc., which are antique. In the temple, there is the Fearless Zen Master Pagoda, which was erected to commemorate Shan Wuwei, a monk from Tianzhu who came to China to spread Buddhism during the Tang Dynasty.
