Tony Garnier Urban Museum

This is an open museum. It is also part of the wall paintings of Lyon. There is a special stop on the line of T4. Get off and cross the road. In a large residential building, there are huge works by architects and urban planners hidden. Tony • Kanier was a pioneer city architect of the twentieth century. He was born in the Red Cross district of Lyon in 1869. The museum front desk is located in a gift shop and can buy a map indicating the route to visit 25 painted walls. One of them is Kanier's "Industrial City (Cite Industrielle)) plan, which marks the functions of each area and shows the future industrial city he imagined, but unfortunately this ideal city has not really been built. But his ideas have affected the thinking of urban planners so far.

This is not an indoor museum, but a mural on the walls of a dozen apartments near Lyon. The street has a sign outside telling you the route to take, and the exhibits are actually about 25 huge murals at the end of the residential area in the surrounding suburbs.
