Musee Urbain Tony Garnier

In a large residential building, there are huge works of architect and city planner Tony Garnier hidden. Tony Garnier was a pioneer urban architect in the 20th century. He was born in the Red Cross district of Lyon in 1869. The museum’s front desk is located in a gift shop, and you can buy a map showing the route to visit the 25 painted walls. One of them is Garnier's "Cite Industrielle" planning plan, which marks the function of each area and shows his vision of the future industrialized city. Unfortunately, this ideal city has not been built. But his ideas have influenced the thinking of urban planners to this day.
