Hollywood Hills

Be prepared to drive up and down the narrow roads for a glimpse of the Hollywood sign. Worth a look, but not the most convenient place to drive here. The house is also worth a look, however residents are very aware of this as people drive by. Once you see this sign there is no other way, so it's best to keep going somewhere else. I would recommend seeing the scenery from Hollywood Lake Park more than here.

This was worth seeing. The scenery was gorgeous after a steep and narrow road! After a long drive, our guide took us to the highest point that the SUV could have reached. Although different from what I thought, I can relate to this picture when watching TV. I ticked off my last wish list again.

This mountain layer is not so special but is very famous in the background of countless movies.

In 1923, the big white character HOLLYWOOD, which became one of the symbols of Hollywood, was erected on the hillside behind Hollywood. Originally, there were four letters LAND after the character. It was an advertising board set up by a construction company to promote newly built residential communities. But after they were erected, no one took care of them, and they gradually became deserted. It was not until 1949 that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce removed the last four letters and restored the other letters. This sign is protected by a trademark today, and no one is allowed to use it without the consent of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The Hollywood Hills looked like they were on a completely different planet from Los Angeles. The beautiful scenery is patchy. As other tourists have said, it is difficult to see a lot of beautiful scenery when traveling as a family, especially when you are driving by yourself. A guided tour can help, especially to give you some information about who lives where. Although we drove there by ourselves, we still enjoyed the tranquility and beauty.
