"I had the chance to visit Notre Dame sadly after the fire ruined the back part of the cathedral, because it was made of wood, so it was easily caught on fire. But luckily, the front part still looks very beautiful, and if you just stay at the front parr, you couldnt tell that something happened before. The Seine river beside this cathedral makes it look even more pretty. I didnt have the chance to go inside because it was closed for renovation at that time."

"Sacré-Cœur is a small Roman Catholic cathedral in Paris, France. The cathedral is the most popular landmark in Paris. It is located on the peak of Montmartre Butte, the highest point in Paris. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is first of all a religious building and is also regarded as a political and cultural monument. The construction of the cathedral began in 1875 and was completed in 1914."

"This surprised me!! I did not have it on my list of things to do in Paris but I’m so glad we decided to go. It was so beautiful and interesting! There are tombs from some of the most famous French people here and the structure itself is amazing! Definitely worth a stop."

"One of the most breathtaking buildings I have ever been in. It is incredible. The stained glass is beautiful. As you go up the narrow staircase and see all the colors and light shining through the windows you'll forget everything but this view. It really is amazing. Well worth the 10 euros or so definitely see it if you're in Paris!"

"I really love this church! Although it is not as famous as Notre-Dame, I find it beautiful and love how the steps are covered in flowers during the spring/summer. I often grab a sandwich and eat it on the steps, as you have a view down Rue Royale and onto Place de la Concorde. Entrance is free so in the summer it's a good place to cool off."

"About one kilometer away from Monet’s Garden, the town along the way is beautiful and quiet. The church is small, and there is a cemetery on the hillside behind. Monet and his family are also buried here. The tomb is not very conspicuous, only a small tombstone has his name written on it. Instead, the cemetery of other people is larger."

"When Notre Dame of Chartres began to be rebuilt after the original church was destroyed by a fire in 1194, the Gothic style has gradually matured from the early Romanesque style after nearly a hundred years of transformation and transition, and it only took 26 years to complete it. The church built is mainly Gothic. Legend has it that the Virgin Mary appeared here and became a famous pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. After 800 years, the miracle still exists. The Gothic style of this cathedral has Roman architectural elements, and it is spectacular whether it is viewed from the front, back, left, or right, or from a distance. The different styles of the two towering bell towers are particularly eye-catching due to the difference in the construction period of the second century. The sculpture art of Notre Dame is unparalleled in the world. The Roman-style west gate and the main entrance were carved by the top craftsmen at that time. There are about 4,000 statues on both sides, reflecting the evolution of the carving art in a century. Stained glass is also one of the most prestigious features of Chartres Cathedral. King Henry IV of France was crowned here in 1594 and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1979."

"The Gothic architectural style church is very magnificent, very beautiful, and it is also very old. Although I don’t know much about Christianity and Catholicism, it’s amazing just to visit the building."
