Worth the effort! Very short opening hours however...
We first tried to visit Fort Marlborough mid-way through our stay, but we got caught up hanging about in Mahon where it lashed it down biblically with rain. So by the time we arrived, it was almost 3p...

We walked from Hotel Del Almirante to Fort Malborough. Lovely walk. Really interesting history. Free entry. Really beautiful little inlet/port.

Very well put together museum/historic building
Easy to walk around and learn some of the islands history. Not expensive but check out the opening times.
