"we need not travel far frommanila have an adventure. Located in the heart of Old Manila, Intramuros Manila (“within the walls” when translated literally from Spanish) is one of the Philippines’ biggest cultural and historical landmarks. The Walled City and its famous citadel Fort Santiago were the seat of government during the Spanish colonial period. Now, it is still very much a living, breathing city with universities, government offices, banks, hotels, and restaurants—and it is well worth the visit. The best part is you can enjoy most parts of Intramuros Manila without breaking the bank!"

"The Chinese Cemetery was one of the most fascinating surprises on my recent trip to Manila. Although it’s technically a graveyard, it looks like a serene and old Chinese town, with its elaborate Oriental architecture, unique features and impressive mausoleums. In addition, it has a nice landscaping design, making it a perfect stroll on a lazy afternoon in Manila."

"Manila is divided into two cemeteries in the north and south. I personally feel that I can pass by and take a look at a site occupying hundreds of acres in the city center. At first glance, it doesn’t look like a cemetery but it looks like a park, where many locals chat."

"The city council is in the city. Take the light rail LRT to the city, get off at the United Nations station, and walk 20-25 minutes after getting off. You can also take the jeepney to Bonifacio Drive."

"The wealthy area of Manila is lined with tall buildings and neat streets. The Bank of China building is also located here. This is one of the safest places in Manila. It is safe to go out at night. There is a park-like green belt just a few steps away. Many people exercise there."

"When I first came to the northern cemetery of Manila, I was deeply shocked to see people living next to the cemetery of the dead. I even took pictures. This is considered a cemetery, but in my opinion it is just a community of people living in it. I hired a tricycle and I traveled around. I saw the graves of some very different celebrities, such as the graves of the President of the Philippines and a movie star. These mausoleums are huge, comparable to a two-story house."
