Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Sinking Monument in Zocalo, Mexico City
The Metropolitan Cathedral is without a doubt one of the most important buildings in Mexico City’s historical center. Beyond its religious significance, it contains a summary of five centuries worth of Mexican art and architecture. Built on the remains of an Aztec temple in what was the center of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, the colonizing Spaniards built the most grandiose church in all of the Americas. Its imposing size, fascinating history and beautiful art and architecture make this one of the most outstanding buildings in the country.
The cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Mexico and is situated on the north side of Mexico City’s main square, the Plaza de la Constitución, more commonly known as the Zocalo, and beside the Templo Mayor archaeological site, a visit to which will give you a glimpse at what this place was like before the arrival of the Spaniards in the 1500s.
There is no charge to enter the cathedral. A donation is requested to enter the choir or sacristy, but it is certainly worthwhile to do that.
The Choir is located inside large stone walls in between the two side organs. A choir is the area of a church that provides seating for the clergy and the musical choir. The choir contains 59 chairs. Each one is precisely carved with reliefs of various saints done in mahogany, walnut, cedar and a native wood called tepehuaje. Above the choir walls is a great painting of Jesus surrounded by angels. This is designed in a semicircular arch, a style popular in Spanish Cathedrals of the time. Work of exquisite taste, of fine guidelines and elegant profile, is worthy center of this magnificent choir.

Edgar Karim Audelo Sandoval Fortunately in front of the ancient Mexican city's main church, you will also encounter a group of local Indians. This is a street performer who makes a living by "self-employment".
They will be dressed in costumes, showing wars, sacrifices and other scenes full of Aztec culture. And the degree of reduction is very high, such as Jaguar warriors, generally wearing tiger skin, holding an obsidian knife (they sharpened the obsidian, inserted on a sheet of wood, with a blade like a sword, although simple, but sharp Not sub-metal), there are still many people who will be dressed as priests, girls, dads, etc. It feels like this is the impression of Mexico, and the photo of the tip will be very happy.

Praise the beaches and cuisine of this Mexican hotel!
Because Mexico's Panama Jack SPA & Resort is an old hotel, the hotel staff is well trained and welcoming, especially the front desk and restaurant waiters can see the guests and see the guests' needs. Recommend the hotel's Italian restaurant, simmered steak and pasta are excellent! There is no extra charge for the restaurant. Except for a small number of expensive wines such as fine wine, champagne and lobster, it is basically a matter of eating and drinking, but you can give due consideration to the service of your desk. 50-100 pesos. Wait, feel free to look at the quality of service and mood.
The beach here is private, the sand is not like the words, the sand is not the flour level but it is already very thin. There are white sand beach beds on the beach, and N beach hotels are free to order wine. They take some fruit and lean on the bed. The boundless Caribbean Sea and the flawless Tiffany Blue are in front of them. There are also beach hawkers, cigars and smugglers on the beach, but the density is not too annoying, it is also very interesting.
This time I also met a couple of new people to hold a wedding. It was really romantic and I just cried.
Experienced in Cancun for one night all-inclusive, Huahua sincerely recommend this Panama JackSPA & Resort, spend three nights in Sanya for a Caribbean middle class ,Good deal. Of course, if you have enough time, it is recommended to stay for at least 2 nights.
A special lunch in Mexico. Feel the cuisine of a place and appreciate its culture.
The third-grade primary school language textbook in Mexico reads: "The November 1st Day of the Dead is a festival we celebrate to commemorate those who are not with us. This is not a sad holiday. It is a day of reunion... ..."
In the early years, Aztec natives in Mexico held a ceremony in the winter to welcome the dead people to go home. The indigenous people believed that the deceased could judge from the joy of the festival that their return was unwelcome, so Those who are alive these days will celebrate and express their enthusiasm.
It is said that the more happy the undead are, the more people who are alive can enjoy the yin of the ancestors, and the food will be productive.
The Spanish colonizers failed to change this tradition. Instead, the festival became even more intense and became the most important festival in Mexico and Central and North America.
Travel in Mexico the traditional beauty of modernity, in a corner of this very modern city, still hides a very traditional market, which is a market full of handicrafts.
Mexicans are very good at using their own manual work, they make a variety of colorful handicrafts, which is their unique traditional skills.
Not only that, but their design and architecture are very special. Is this probably the traditional beauty that is preserved in modern times?

Zócalo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Zócalo, Mexico City
A huge square in the city’s Centro Historico, Zócalo is for those who love local action. Stop to admire politicians scurrying to government offices and street hawkers peddling toys, snacks and the Mexican flag. Explore the Metropolitan Cathedral to the north, built on the ruins of the Aztec’s Templo Mayor. Art abounds, from Diego Rivera murals at the Ministry of Education to ornately tiled cafes, museums and several traditional bakeries selling colorful Mexican sweets.

Mexico City, has always been thinking about where to come. Before coming, many people said that it was not safe, and advised me to report a group. In the end, I was still free to come. The first impression is that people are more dense. Mexico City is only one-tenth the size of Beijing, but with a population of more than 22 million, it is one of the most crowded cities in the world. After landing, I came to the Constitution Square, which is located in the center of the old city. The square is surrounded by old buildings such as the National Palace and the Capital Cathedral. First feeling, I really like it.
The Constitution Square can be regarded as the absolute city center of Mexico City. It is also a must for every visitor. The 55-meter flag is really shocking when it flutters in the wind.
But to get the best angle, it's not the average tourist location, and it's enough to be lucky enough to book the best western top floor room facing the square. Pushing the window is such a scene, you can lie in bed and wait for the sunrise and sunset of Constitution Square.
The center Zócalo in Mexico City. A beautiful sunny day!#instatravel

National Museum of Anthropology Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Learn about Mayan culture in Mexico City
I found the best place to learn about Mayan culture and history to be at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. It is a huge museum that houses all kinds of artifacts from around Mexico detailing the life of the ancient Mayans. The building itself, however, is quite modern.
You can see all kinds of objects such as sculptures, boats, masks, clothing and tools. Probably the most famous piece at the museum is the Mayan Calendar. There really is a lot to see, so plan to spend at least half a day.
Address: Calle Avenida Grutas Sn, 11560 Miguel Hidalgo, Distrito Federal
Entrance fee: 85 pesos.

Mexico City|National Museum of Anthropology
|National Museum of Anthropology. Entered at 9:30 in the morning, it's cooler and less crowded. After touring for 3 hours, I gained a lot. It was my first time to get close to the Mayan and Aztec civilizations. When I came out, there was already a queue for entry, and the sun was getting hotter. It is recommended that friends who want to go should choose to go early in the morning for a better experience.
THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY
I loveeeeee museums and this is what I always look for everytime I visit places. The National Museum of Anthropology offers a lot of information on people and our lives before. It showcases pieces of clothing, ceramics, ornaments, and many more than previous civilizations have treasured. It was a great day to be there!

Mexico's anthropological museum, mostly in Olmec, Aztec, Maya, civilized introduction. Come and have a look at
Mexico's Museum of Anthropology
is one of the largest and most famous museums in Latin America. It is located in Chapultepec Park, Mexico City, covering an area of 125,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 33,000 square meters. The pavilion was remodeled in 1940 on the site of the Guth Committee established by the University of Mexico in 1808. The museum's architecture blends traditional Indian style with modern art, fully demonstrating the deep cultural connotations of the Mexican people. The basic structure of the museum is similar to that of Beijing's quadrangle, which is slightly longer and shorter in the north and south. The walls of the gate are made of various patterns and portraits of megaliths.
Coyoacan Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I love Mexico
Coyocan.. a place where food and souviniers are awesome cheap and good.
Food Bazaar
a great place to try mexican local food
Frida's Blue House is located in Coyoacn, south of the beautiful city of Mexico. After a visit to the Blue House, walk 700m to reach the central square of Coyoacan. The food market of
coyoacan is famous for its inexpensive food. Looking far away is a row of yellow houses, and there are surprises in it. In front of the food stalls, full of diners. I was seated in front of a stall to eat tostadas.
Tostadas is a very common street food in Mexico. Spread the buttery tortillas on a crispy tortilla, topped with seafood, meat, vegetables, etc., then sprinkle with onions, cheese and avocado.
Although it is impossible to communicate with the stall owner, the food is in front of you, telling the stall owner what to add by finger. Seafood 40 pesos, vegetables 30 pesos, double fight 45 pesos, a super cup of juice 40 pesos. It is highly recommended that the tomatoes are mixed with fresh shrimp and the most delicious ones have been tried. One is oversized, I have eaten two servings, and the locals can usually eat three.
